Renee Olstead, former child actress and OnlyFans model, reportedly plays a key role in Wisconsin state Representative Francesca Hong’s gubernatorial campaign ahead of the Democratic primary. According to The Heartland Post, Olstead, known also as Renee Faust, serves as Hong’s deputy campaign manager.
Olstead has been involved as a campaign operative since January. Her social media presence, featuring the slogan ‘HONG 4 GOV,’ includes photos from campaign events. The Heartland Post reports that Olstead handles logistics for notable supporters like Hasan Piker, a known streamer and political commentator.
Wisconsin state Representative Francesca Hong has expressed that Thanksgiving is her ‘favorite holiday,’ and stated she does not want to cancel it.
The campaign confirmed Olstead’s role but chose not to directly answer all of Fox News Digital’s questions about Olstead’s employment status and link to the campaign. The statement highlighted Olstead’s career as a mental health clinician aiding trafficking survivors and her efforts in growing a substantial grassroots campaign.
Previously, Olstead established the Coalition for American Sex Workers (CASW – LOCAL 304), advocating for policy changes relevant to sex workers. Her efforts earned her recognition from the Wisconsin State Assembly, celebrated by Hong and others with a citation.
Wisconsin Family Action criticized Olstead’s involvement in Hong’s campaign, questioning her potential future role in state leadership.
Despite previous controversial comments and positions, Hong has recently altered her stance, including distancing herself from a past suggestion to ‘cancel Thanksgiving’. She emphasized her appreciation for the holiday, describing it as her favorite.
Hong faces several opponents in the primary, including Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, former Wisconsin Department of Administration Secretary Joel Brennan, and Democratic state Senator Kelda Roys.
