This week illustrated House Republicans’ difficulties in governing with a minimal majority. Some votes did not succeed, while others were completely abandoned. After several Republicans crossed party lines, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) ended the session. They urged President Donald Trump to cease the war in Iran.
