Details of Planned Attack on UFC Event Unveiled in Court Affidavits

Plot Uncovered at White House UFC Event

Recently released court affidavits reveal a detailed plan for an alleged coordinated attack on a UFC event at the White House. The plan involved the use of drones, sniper positions, and crowd manipulation. Five suspects face charges, presenting the clearest picture yet of the intended operation.

Operational Details and High-Value Targets

Prosecutors have presented evidence showing maps with operational positions, encrypted group chat screenshots, and photographs of firearms and tactical equipment. These materials indicate a multiphase plan targeting politicians and high-value individuals attending the event in Washington, D.C.

One map details proposed sniper and drone positions around the White House. Handwritten notes instruct members to position teams at specified locations and identify an escape route towards the river. The group intended to stage a demonstration on the White House’s north side while deploying explosive drones over the UFC arena, thereby forcing evacuations towards individuals armed with rifles.

Among the named targets were Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senators Jim Justice and Shelley Moore Capito from West Virginia, and Representatives Carol Miller and Riley Moore. The affidavits indicated that these targets received funds from ‘pro-Israel PACs’.

The Suspects and Their Network

The main suspects include Tycen Proper, Bryan Omar Roa, Michael Alan Thomas, Daniel Eskridge, and Abraham Alvarez. They allegedly connected online, identifying as ex-military and Christian, with anti-government views. They criticized government corruption and other issues.

Proper’s family alerted authorities, concerned about his behavior and weapons collection. This led to an investigation. Proper joined a network initially formed on TikTok, then moved to encrypted messaging platforms Signal and SimpleX. The group consisted of about 19 individuals with smaller task groups.

Evidence and Arrests

Authorities captured images of tactical training and discussions about the attack plan from the suspects’ devices. The group made practical arrangements, including escape routes.

Thomas and Roa reportedly met for tactical shooting exercises in a remote area. Conversation logs revealed plans for guerrilla warfare training. Evidence also included maps with specific locations for drones and snipers, emphasizing planning roles and escape paths.

Legal Consequences for Suspects

Prosecutors have charged the suspects with various federal offenses.

  • Tycen Proper faces charges including conspiracy, attempted murder of a federal officer, and weapon-related crimes.
  • Michael Alan Thomas and Bryan Omar Roa each face conspiracy to commit murder charges.
  • Daniel Eskridge and Abraham Alvarez are charged with related offenses.

Some charges carry life sentences, with mandatory terms for firearm offenses.

Legal proceedings continue as authorities work to secure convictions.
