Sports analyst Dan Dakich has expressed dissatisfaction with Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White for her evasive response to a GOP letter directed at the WNBA. The letter raises concerns regarding Caitlin Clark’s treatment, with suggestions that some of the attacks are racially motivated. Dakich questioned White’s failure to defend her star player and pointed out the league’s apparent lack of support, despite the involvement of Congress in the matter.
The Seattle Storm faced challenges at home entering Tuesday night, with a record of 4-10 at Climate Pledge Arena as they prepared for their third season game against the visiting Indiana Fever. Continuing their struggles, the Storm succumbed to a 103-95 defeat, driven by Caitlin Clark’s impressive 32-point performance for the Fever. Natisha Hiedeman led all scorers with 33 points for Seattle.
Clark’s fellow backcourt player, Kelsey Mitchell, also had an impressive game, successfully shooting nine out of 18 attempts from the field and contributing 28 points to the Fever’s victory.

Indiana took a commanding 17-point lead by the end of the first quarter, but Seattle managed to regroup at halftime, reducing the deficit to four points heading into the fourth quarter. However, Seattle’s rally lost momentum in the final period, with Indiana advancing to an 18-10 season record.
Fever star center Aliyah Boston left the game early due to a knee injury sustained after an awkward landing. During the second quarter, while setting a screen and moving toward the basket, she collided with Flau’jae Johnson, causing her to fall down. Following the incident, officials called a foul, and Boston was seen grabbing her right knee. Though initially deemed questionable to return, she was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the game.
