Caleb Williams Suffers Injury During Game Against Vikings

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams experienced significant pain after a run during the fourth quarter of the game against the Vikings on September 20, 2026. The incident took place at Soldier Field. The photograph taken by Stacey Wescott of the Chicago Tribune captures Williams grimacing in pain.

While suffering a soft-tissue injury like a hamstring issue is generally less severe than structural damage to joints such as knees or ankles, it does not negate challenges regarding recovery. Such injuries can result in absences from the playing field, placing Williams’ participation in upcoming games in question.
