Following the ejection, Carrington expressed her viewpoint on social media by posting “WHITE PRIVILEGE” and tagging the Fever team. This incident added to the game’s intensity.
In the third quarter, Caitlin Clark of the Fever was issued a technical foul after inadvertently contacting a referee while being forced out of bounds. This technical foul marked her eighth of the season, resulting in an automatic suspension for the next game.
