Actor Dennis Haskins, known for his iconic role as Principal Richard Belding in ‘Saved by the Bell,’ has died at age 75. According to his agent, Jay Schachter, Haskins’s passing is a significant loss. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Schachter remarked, “Everyone loved Mr. Belding, and those of us who got to know Dennis loved him even more. He was a wonderful person who adored his fans, always making time for them. As my client and close friend of over 20 years, his absence will be deeply felt. My heart is broken.”

“He was known to most as Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell, but to us, he was much more than that,”

Dimples Karaoke, a former bar in Burbank, California, shared a heartfelt tribute to Haskins on Instagram. Though the bar closed around 11 years ago, Haskins was a regular visitor and left a lasting impression there. “Dennis was a staple at Dimples. Many people thought he owned the place, but he didn’t. He simply loved it and its community. He enjoyed performing, meeting fans, and taking photos with them. Even after Dimples closed, he was remembered as an integral part of its history,” the tribute read.

The message continued, “Late last night, that journey ended for him. He is now at peace, possibly entertaining those in the sky. If you reached out in recent years, know that your messages were conveyed to him, and you were heard.”

Haskins played Principal Belding in nearly 90 episodes of ‘Saved by the Bell’ from 1989 to 1992. His beloved portrayal of the character left a lasting impact on fans and those who knew him personally.

This report is a breaking story, and more information will follow as details emerge.
