Patrick Mahomes Sr.’s Legal Motion
Patrick Mahomes Sr. has filed a legal motion seeking permission to attend several of his son Patrick Mahomes’ football games this season. This request was made in the 7th District Court in Tyler, Texas, as reported by FOX10.
Mahomes Sr. is currently on probation after a guilty plea for driving while intoxicated. The motion requests permission to travel out of state for seven games in Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Cincinnati.
Condition Compliance
Within the motion, Mahomes Sr. agrees to undergo urinalysis testing before and after each trip and to inform his supervising officer before leaving Texas. He was originally sentenced to five years of probation in 2024 due to the driving charge. However, due to a probation violation involving alcohol consumption in 2026, an additional two years were added to his probation.
The motion outlines that Mahomes Sr. has completed 16 weeks of outpatient treatment and 160 hours of community service. He adheres to his probation conditions and is monitored by an ankle device, as verified by local probation authorities.
His compliance with probation is indicated by multiple forms of monitoring and treatment completion.
