Bunnie Xo Opens Up About Heartbreak
Bunnie Xo has publicly addressed the emotional and physical effects of her divorce from Jelly Roll. In a discussion with Jenna Bush Hager on “Open Book,” she shared her struggles. “There were times when my team had to lift me off the floor and give me IVs because I wasn’t eating,” she revealed. Bunnie stated that she resorted to eating baby food and experienced a significant weight loss of 20 pounds due to the emotional stress.
The couple’s divorce proceedings began when Jelly Roll filed on May 18, noting their separation on May 9. They met in 2015 at a Las Vegas concert and eloped a year later, with their nearly decade-long marriage finalized in July.
Public Insights and Deleted Podcast
After announcing the divorce, Bunnie used her podcast to reveal details of the split, which she later removed from YouTube. Despite public interest, Bunnie remains determined to maintain her individuality. “Oh, everybody loves to watch a train wreck,” she told Hager. “I am my own person. I stand on my own two feet, even alongside my ex-husband.”
Bunnie emphasized her independence with her brand, separate from Jelly Roll. “I don’t see why I couldn’t continue to stand on my own two feet and not have to dwell in that space of emotion,” she stated.

Currently, Bunnie is prioritizing self-care in her life. “It’s just pouring back into yourself,” she explained. She encourages allowing oneself to be self-focused without guilt. “It’s OK to be selfish,” she affirmed.
Bunnie believes everyone deserves their own time and the opportunity to enjoy life. “We deserve to pour into each other,” she added with enthusiasm about her new chapter.

Amid her newfound freedom, Bunnie insists her activities aren’t scandalous. “People probably think I’m out here doing, like, ho activities, and I’m not,” she stated. “Literally, we’re at home playing Cards Against Humanity, swimming, and working out.” She assures that only a portion of her life is shared online.
In July, Bunnie was seen with Dylan Wolf, a reality star, sparking social media buzz. Despite speculation, she clarified not all her social companions are romantically involved. “You guys are going to see me with multiple men, maybe even a couple women,” she joked. “You never know.”
