Tadej Pogacar Anticipates Fifth Tour de France Victory

The highly anticipated 113th edition of the Tour de France has commenced, with the starting line set in Barcelona for the first time. This marks a historic moment as it’s the inaugural Grand Départ from the Spanish city, which hasn’t seen such a start since 1971. The race began with a team time trial, adding a unique twist to the traditional start.

Renowned cyclist Tadej Pogacar, a dominant figure in the sport, is poised to achieve his fifth Tour de France victory. If successful, he will overshadow two-time winner Jonas Vingegaard for the third consecutive year. Pogacar rode in Barcelona, Spain, on July 2, demonstrating his readiness for yet another triumph.

The event takes place amid intense heat and features a competitive lineup of young talents eager to make their mark. The Tour’s route will challenge participants as it weaves its way to a spectacular finish in Paris on July 26.
