TNA Wrestling Faces Major Personnel Changes

Recent developments have brought significant changes to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Anthem Sports & Entertainment, TNA’s parent company, has disclosed a major shift in the organization’s talent and personnel roster. On Wednesday, the company confirmed the exits of pro wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer and former TNA world champion Tessa Blanchard.

A press release from TNA indicated that these changes are part of a broader workforce reduction strategy. The aim is to streamline operations and enhance the company’s strategic focus and profitability. The organization stated, “Tommy Dreamer, who has worked in TNA’s Creative and Talent Relations Departments, is leaving the company as TNA and Dreamer mutually agreed to part ways.” The release also noted the termination of Tessa Blanchard’s contract, wishing her well in future endeavors.

“TNA Wrestling today announced a workforce reduction, designed to streamline operations and sharpen strategic focus and profitability,” the organization said.

Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on his departure during an interview on Busted Open Radio, expressing his feelings about leaving TNA.

Additionally, wrestler Sami Callihan revealed on social media that he has also parted ways with TNA. He mentioned, “Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure.” He encouraged fans to follow his next moves in Pro Wrestling Revolver.

The departures of Dreamer, Blanchard, and Callihan are the most recent among several changes within TNA. Earlier this month, Steve Maclin and Myla Grace also exited the promotion.
