Tarek and Heather El Moussa experienced a distressing situation after their Southern California home was burglarized while they were vacationing. The reality stars’ property in Newport Beach was broken into as they spent time in Mexico with their family.

Authorities confirmed to Fox News Digital that a burglary was reported near the Mariners Community around 6 p.m. on June 8. While the couple was away, intruders accessed the backyard, broke a sliding glass door, and entered the house.

Inside, the suspects targeted the primary bedroom closet before fleeing through the backyard. They exited along the side of the house and out the front yard. Jewelry was reported stolen from the residence.

Police believe the incident occurred between the early hours of June 6 and stretched into June 8. The Newport Beach Police Department has not yet identified any suspects in the case. Representatives for Tarek and Heather El Moussa declined to comment.

Following the burglary, Heather expressed their feelings on social media. She labeled some people as ‘cruel and heartless’ in her Instagram stories and emphasized that both they and their children are safe.

The couple is taking a brief break but plans to provide more details soon. In January 2023, they welcomed their son Tristan. Tarek and his ex-wife, Christina Haack, were married for seven years and continue to co-parent their two children, Taylor and Brayden.
