WWE Star Rhea Ripley Undergoes Knee Surgery

WWE star Rhea Ripley has announced that she underwent surgery on her right knee. As the reigning WWE women’s champion, Ripley is one of the prominent figures on the SmackDown brand.

Life update. After nearly 14 years in wrestling and participating in sports my entire life, it caught up with me. Surgery was never my first choice, but it became necessary. The first surgery is done. I survived, and now it’s time to thrive again so I can return to what I love! See you all soon.

Ripley hasn’t appeared on ‘Friday Night SmackDown’ since June 5. Initial reports indicated she sustained an injury, but details were unclear until now. She missed major events like Night of Champions and SummerSlam. During this period, WWE held a tournament to crown an interim women’s champion.

Chelsea Green emerged victorious over Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Lash Legend, and Charlotte Flair in a ladder match at SummerSlam. This win marked Green’s first world title reign and positions her as a leader in the women’s division.

Fans are eager to see Ripley return to health and possibly face Green to unify the titles. Such a match could be a highlight for pro wrestling enthusiasts.
