Two men sustained gunshot injuries late Tuesday night, as reported by Miami police. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when officers responded to an audio alert detecting gunshots in the area.
Authorities found the scene on Northwest Fifth Avenue, between Sixth and Seventh streets. Police discovered two men, aged between their 20s and 30s, who had been shot. They were promptly transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Miami Fire Rescue stated that both men were in critical condition at the time. Updates on their condition are yet to be provided by the police. An investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting.
