Trick Williams Secures Victory at Sunday Night’s Main Event
Trick Williams achieved a pivotal win at Sunday Night’s Main Event, reclaiming the United States Championship for the second time. The event took place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 6, 2026.
Manager’s Crucial Role
Williams’ path to victory required a significant contribution from his manager, Lil Yachty. Yachty needed to endure five minutes in the ring with Baron Corbin to grant Williams his title shot. Demonstrating resilience, Yachty managed to secure the opportunity for Williams despite being put through a table post-match.

Intense Championship Match
Following Yachty’s performance, Williams entered the ring amidst roaring support from the Atlanta crowd. The clash between Williams and Corbin was intense and even. Both wrestlers exchanged forearm shots and double clotheslines striving for dominance.
Corbin seemed poised to retain his title after launching Williams into the steel steps and ring post. He paused outside the ring, eyeing the U.S. title, which led to a confrontation with Yachty in a tug-of-war over the championship belt. This distraction allowed Corbin to strike Williams with the belt.
Thrilling Finish
Despite the setback, Williams remained resilient, kicking out of Corbin’s pin attempt. He then executed his signature Trick Shot maneuver, successfully pinning Corbin to secure the victory and regain the United States Championship.

Williams’ Championship History
Williams first claimed the United States title by defeating Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year. He lost the championship to Corbin at SummerSlam, making his recent victory a significant comeback.
Future Challenges
With the upcoming Money in the Bank event, Williams is expected to face new opponents. Possible challengers include Carmelo Hayes, Johnny Gargano, and Ricky Saints.
