Authorities have identified a 36-year-old man, Benjamin Charles Parker, as a suspect in the killings of five individuals at a rural property in Oregon. The bodies were discovered alongside several deceased pets at what has been termed a ‘complex’ scene.
Officers from the Enumclaw Police Department later found Parker dead inside his vehicle in Washington state. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office indicated that Parker’s death is believed to be a suicide.

The deceased were found near Forest Grove, roughly 30 miles west of Portland, following a report of a vehicle fire early on Saturday, August 22. Initial responders also discovered human remains and numerous dead domesticated animals. They called for additional support from sheriff’s deputies, according to Detective Shannon Wilde.
The Sheriff’s Office assured the public that there is no ongoing threat. They noted that the killings do not appear to be random.

Parker was located in Enumclaw, Washington. His body was found behind a grocery store, as stated by the Enumclaw Police Department. Investigators have not yet disclosed how Parker was associated with the victims or how he was tracked to Washington.
