Music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs found himself in solitary confinement following a fight with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. This incident stemmed from an exchange of words after an inmate reportedly insulted Diddy, leading to a physical confrontation, according to TMZ.

The altercation quickly escalated from verbal insults to shoving and punching. Security intervened and separated the two. Diddy reportedly managed to defend himself during the skirmish, which led to his solitary confinement. His current status remains undisclosed.

The Federal Correctional Institution issued a statement saying that they cannot provide specifics about inmates due to privacy regulations. Fort Dix is a federal facility located in New Jersey.

Diddy is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted in July 2025 on charges related to sex trafficking. His arrest took place at a hotel in Midtown New York, shortly after his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, filed a lawsuit alleging rape and abuse. The lawsuit was quickly settled, yet it triggered numerous other allegations and over 100 civil lawsuits against Diddy.

His scheduled release is February 2028, contingent on maintaining good behavior. The effect of this recent incident on his release date is yet to be determined.
