Sabrina Carpenter made a bold fashion statement at the Dior Cruise 2027 show. The 27-year-old singer caught attention with a sheer butter yellow gown, displaying the naked dress trend at the event held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
The gown, crafted by Dior, featured pleated chiffon, a high neckline, and a drop-waist design. Embellished with oversized yellow and white floral appliqués, it showcased a flowing skirt in soft hues. Underneath, Carpenter wore white lace lingerie, including a bra and high-waisted underwear, adding to the daring ensemble.
For footwear, she selected satin butter yellow peep-toe heels. She also carried a matching Dior handbag adorned with a large cream flower appliqué. Carpenter completed her look with diamond earrings and styled her hair in a half updo held by a white ribbon.
Carpenter’s ensemble made its debut on a model who opened the Dior show with the same gown. The event marked another high-profile appearance for Carpenter with Dior, despite the singer not being an official brand ambassador. Her repeated collaborations with Dior highlight their mutual recognition in the fashion scene.
The star-studded event showcased Dior’s Hollywood-inspired collection under creative director Jonathan Anderson. Carpenter sat in the front row, accompanied by Miley Cyrus, Mikey Madison, Lauren Hutton, Greta Lee, Jisoo, and Anya Taylor-Joy. Al Pacino also attended, marking a rare public appearance alongside his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah.
Earlier in the month, Carpenter impressed at the Met Gala with a custom Dior gown made from vintage film strips. The design included imagery from the 1954 film “Sabrina.” Her Met Gala look further emphasized her evolving fashion approach, which she discussed with Vogue correspondent Lala Anthony, noting her penchant for taking risks and having fun with fashion.
