A judge in North Carolina has reportedly issued an arrest order for Jen Belichick, the daughter-in-law of Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Patriots. This followed her absence from a court appearance regarding a speeding violation.
Jen Belichick, married to Steve Belichick, the defensive coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels, was stopped by the Highway Patrol on May 21. She was reportedly driving at 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County, according to court records.
The speeding incident led to a misdemeanor charge, requiring her to appear in court on a Friday. When she did not attend, the judge issued the arrest order. A court official noted she now has three options: file a motion to recall the order, hire legal representation, or surrender to authorities.
Jen Belichick has yet to make any public comments regarding the arrest order. Efforts to reach a Brunswick County clerk for further details were noted by Fox News Digital.
Jen and Steve Belichick have been married for approximately a decade and have several children. Recently, there has been tension between Jen Belichick and Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, stemming from an incident involving a CBS News interview in May 2025.
This confrontation reportedly escalated in the Tar Heels head coach’s office over various issues.
