The disease has spread to her spine, right hip, and ribs, making chemotherapy ineffective and the condition incurable. Davis shared her story on Instagram, urging vigilance in health matters. She wrote, “The initial lump that I felt wasn’t a ‘lump’ as such; rather, a kind of hard spot. Really tiny. I almost didn’t bother getting it checked.” Her message emphasizes the importance of checking any abnormality without delay.
Despite the gravity of her diagnosis, Davis is choosing to embrace the time she has left. She stated, “As of now, I’m trying to live out whatever might be left of my life in as fun a way as I possibly can.” Davis finds teachable moments in her cancer experience, noting, “there’s a lot I have learned from it, and I’m grateful for that.” She acknowledges the physical challenges, saying, “the pain can really be something else,” and that she sometimes needs assistance such as a wheelchair.
Davis speaks of peace with her future, “I’m not scared of whatever comes next. I’m at peace with it.” Her focus remains on causes she values, like animal rights advocacy, and she intends to continue acting. “Acting is one of the biggest joys in my life,” she explained.
