Senator Graham passed away at the age of 71 on Saturday night following an acute aortic dissection. This medical emergency involves a tear in the inner layer of the aorta, the body’s primary artery. Such a condition can rapidly turn fatal if blood penetrates the artery’s layers, causing rupture. His office noted that he passed away surrounded by family and close friends.
Lindsey Graham’s Political Legacy
