Independent professional wrestling offers sports fans an authentic spectator experience. Attendees can enjoy meeting future stars while witnessing high-quality shows. Tickets are generally affordable, and many events maintain a family-friendly atmosphere, making it enjoyable for all ages.
Titan Championship Wrestling, a wrestling promotion based in New Jersey, exemplifies this approach. The promotion has effectively engaged audiences for years and is bringing wrestling back to Spotswood, New Jersey. This event, titled Resurrection, will be held in a town that hasn’t hosted professional wrestling in nearly 11 years.
“This is a great experience for the people of Spotswood or any kind of professional wrestling fan in the area,” Titan Championship Wrestling co-promoter Charles DeLutri told OutKick Dropkick in a recent interview. “Wrestling has not been in that area for almost 11 years, and we’re happy to bring you not only an unbelievable event, but at the same time, a portion of what we actually do here at Titan Championship Wrestling.”
Titan Championship Wrestling incorporates various entertainment styles, including comedy and strong style, to offer a well-rounded, enjoyable experience for families.
The event will feature notable wrestlers such as former WWE star Jay Tha Gawd, Joey Janela, and heavyweight champion Michael Fain. DeLutri highlighted his long-standing association with Janela and noted Jay Tha Gawd’s rising presence on the independent scene. Fain, holding the title of heavyweight champion, was emphasized as a significant up-and-comer, adding considerable talent to the event.
“Michael Fain has to be one of the biggest up-and-comers out there,” DeLutri said. “Michael Fain has been grinding with us since almost day one of Titan Championship Wrestling. And what he’s done toward that, he’s taken that title toward that, it’s evolved to a faction called the TBA which was him and his organization tour that he’s now called the king of the titans, and he uses that name well.”
The event, Resurrection, is scheduled for Oct. 17, 2026, at the Spotswood Columbian Club, starting at 7 p.m. ET. This event promises an engaging night for wrestling fans and families alike.
