Hunter Welcing’s football journey has been marked by resilience and determination. After graduating from Lake Zurich in 2020, he faced numerous challenges, including major knee injuries. His time at Northwestern University saw him struggle to find a permanent spot as a tight end. But things started to change during the 2025 season as Welcing found his stride with the Wildcats.
