Heather Locklear recently shared insights about her relationship with Lorenzo Lamas during an appearance on the “Hollywood & Divine” podcast. Speaking for the first time about Lamas, Locklear referred to him as her “new boyfriend” and emphasized the role of faith in their relationship.
“My new guy is very … everything,” Locklear expressed. “When I tell this person I love him, I’m really saying, ‘I love you, God.’ It’s from God.”
Locklear conveyed that she is currently in the “best time” of her life.
The couple made their first public appearance at the Chiller Theatre Expo on April 26.
Lorenzo Lamas also provided exclusive remarks to Fox News Digital, discussing the journey in his love life that ultimately led to Locklear. He mentioned, “I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met.”
The pair originally met over 40 years ago during their early fame. Locklear was starring in “Dynasty” and Lamas was known for his role on “Falcon Crest.” Their notable first encounter was a photoshoot for the 1983 Playgirl magazine cover, where Locklear wore a bikini and Lamas donned a Speedo.
Locklear was formerly married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993 and to Richie Sambora from 1994 to 2004. She shares a daughter, Ava, with Sambora.
Last May, Locklear ended a five-year relationship with Chris Heisser, stating in 2021 that marriage was “not so important.” She recently attended her daughter’s wedding in Montecito, California, with Lamas as her guest.
