FAA Approves Donald Trump’s Proposed Triumphal Arch

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that the proposed 250-foot triumphal arch, envisioned by President Donald Trump, does not pose a hazard to aircraft. This decision follows an aeronautical study by the FAA that assessed the potential impact of the structure on aviation safety.

The arch, planned to be located near Memorial Circle in Arlington, Virginia, will include specific features to ensure it remains visible to pilots. The FAA recommends incorporating “a non-standard eternal flame” at the top of the arch. Additionally, the structure should be continuously illuminated by searchlight projectors surrounding its base, ensuring clear visibility from the air.

This proposed site was captured in a photograph by Eric Lee of Reuters, showcasing vehicles near the future location of this significant structure.
