Dolce & Gabbana presented a versatile menswear collection during Milan Fashion Week, designed for both Milan’s intense summer heat and a serene Sicilian beach escape. Models walked a seaside-themed runway, showcasing laser-cut suits, short shorts, and comfortable knitwear.
Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana set the scene with a video of a rocky coastline at sunset. The models moved amongst columns reminiscent of a Mediterranean terrace, wearing swimwear and silk pajamas.
The collection featured garments that transition seamlessly from the city to the seaside. Laser-cut suits, tunics, and loose trousers were crafted to provide cool comfort. An oversized travel bag made of leather, suede, and raffia stood out as a key accessory.
Short shorts highlighted muscular legs, while loose-knit tops showcased torsos. Suit jackets had distinctive upright lapels and back panels that could be unbuttoned for extra ventilation. The brand’s craftsmanship shone through in woven leather jackets and matching woven footwear.
Signature embellishments like rhinestones on denim added flair, while coral beading adorned suits, shirts, and trousers. The designs also included religious motifs, such as cross necklaces resembling rosaries and icon-inspired prints on T-shirts.
The show concluded with models parading in all-white outfits, reflecting a crisp, summer vibe. Notable attendees included Polish soccer star Robert Lewandowski, NBA champion Kawhi Leonard, Italian actor Michele Morrone of Netflix’s “365 Days”, and K-pop artist Soobin.
