Controversial Influencer Promotes Dangerous ‘Looksmaxxing’ Trend

Braden Peters, also known as Clavicular, has ignited debate with his ‘looksmaxxing’ movement. A controversial internet personality, he argues this regimen is a complete approach to self-improvement.

Clavicular shared his views on the ‘Hang Out with Sean Hannity’ show. He claims that looksmaxxing is gaining traction among younger generations. His methods, however, have raised alarm among medical professionals due to significant risks.

Looksmaxxing involves practices like taking stimulants and ‘bone smashing.’ Clavicular describes this as hitting facial bones with a hammer to promote growth.

The 20-year-old livestreamer sees his movement as filling gaps left by traditional male self-improvement approaches. He believes more emphasis should be on facial aesthetics, not solely on physique.

Clavicular frequently appears in viral clips taken from his livestreams on platforms like Kick. These often show him using pickup lines in nightclubs, emphasizing hypergamy’s principles and the rationale for looksmaxxing.

Clavicular’s methods and behavior have sparked controversy. His treatment of women in clubs led to his arrest in Florida for battery in March. Authorities accused him of initiating a fight between two women and sharing the video online.

Younger audiences, primarily from Generation Z and Generation Alpha, are experimenting with looksmaxxing. Critics are concerned about Clavicular’s significant influence on these groups.

In a conversation with Sean Hannity, Clavicular defended his content. He emphasized that achieving a better appearance should be a priority. He insists that being attractive benefits various life interactions, including job prospects.

The full interview with Clavicular on ‘Hang Out with Sean Hannity’ is set to release on Tuesday across platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Apple.

Nora Moriarty, a writer at Fox News Digital, covers the story.
