Chaz Warrington: From Wrestling Champion to Entrepreneur

Pro wrestling enthusiasts who watched Monday Night Raw during the intense rivalry between WWE (previously WWF) and World Championship Wrestling would remember The Headbangers causing chaos in the tag team division. Mosh and Thrasher, though popular, claimed the tag team championship only once during their WWE careers. After leaving the wrestling world, Mosh, known as Chaz Warrington, ventured into entrepreneurship. He has since established a premium lifestyle brand that embodies his wrestling journey and life experiences.

Chaz Warrington on being ‘fortunate’ rather than ‘lucky.’

Chaz Warrington (Mosh) insists that labeling him as ‘lucky’ undermines the efforts he invested in his career. He prefers to describe himself as ‘fortunate.’ The Live Fortunate brand he created extends beyond a mere slogan on a T-shirt. It represents a philosophy Warrington has embraced throughout his life.

“Live Fortunate is designed for those who have put in hard work and are dismissed as ‘lucky,'” he expressed in an interview with OutKick Dropkick. “I consider myself fortunate because of my past in wrestling and my involvement with nonprofits in South Florida. My wrestling background has opened doors to black-tie events and impactful community engagements.”

Warrington also participates in interviews and collaborates with WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, working with NXT trainees. His arduous journey, from cold-calling in sweltering heat for his sales job to his wrestling career, has shaped opportunities earned through perseverance.

The idea for the brand struck him during a camp session when someone dubbed him ‘lucky.’ Wearing Lucky Brand clothing at that moment, he resolved to change the narrative by sporting a different T-shirt the next time. This gesture led to the realization that ‘fortunate’ held greater significance than a simple label.

“As I delved deeper into it, I recognized it wasn’t just a T-shirt. It carried meaning,” Warrington recounted. “For example, another shirt features a rhinoceros and ‘Live Fortunate,’ accompanied by words like gratitude, opportunities, and earning achievements.”

He emphasizes the essence of the brand: hard work leading to opportunities, not being ‘really lucky,’ but ‘fortunate’ because of effort. It’s a clothing line that embodies this message, a premium lifestyle concept conveying that ethos.

Warrington has been fortunate to contribute to his community as well, working with Junior Achievement of South Florida to teach kids financial literacy and share life experiences.

An additional reason for Warrington’s gratitude stems from his experience as a cancer survivor. Diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2017, he embraced an even-keeled mentality, choosing not to worry without cause. This mindset allowed him to focus and keep negativity at bay.

“Maintaining this perspective aided my journey,” he shared. “Being young with a family to care for, I focused on positives. I view the glass as three-quarters full, believing in the ability to replenish it.”

Despite surviving cancer, Warrington doesn’t see himself as a typical survivor. While acknowledging his resilience, he emphasizes others who face tougher battles. He endeavors to support them by promoting a positive mindset, reinforcing the belief in finding silver linings.

The power of the mind became evident to Warrington, prompting him to help others recognize their fortunes and harness this perspective. He is committed to spreading this empowering message.
