Bus Accident at Newark Liberty International Injures 13

An employee shuttle bus crashed into a concrete barrier at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey early Monday, causing injuries to 13 people. Local reports confirmed the incident.

The crash occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway. According to News 12 New Jersey, three individuals sustained serious injuries, while 10 others suffered minor injuries. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Footage shared by Fox News Digital revealed the shuttle bus extensively damaged, pressed against the concrete barrier. The front end was crumpled, and the glass from the bus door and windshield was shattered.

Police tape encircled the crash site as first responders attended to the situation. The cause of the crash remains unknown, with authorities actively investigating.

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment, as reported by WABC-TV.

The accident led to the closure of the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway to clear the debris. The Port Authority Police Department advised travelers from Terminal B to use Level 2 for drop-offs due to ongoing police activity.

Authorities have yet to announce the crash cause. The investigation continues.
