In the team’s impressive 3-0 start, Purdy completed 72.3% of his pass attempts, accumulating 789 yards. He leads the league with nine touchdowns and has only one interception.
Purdy also contributed with 93 rushing yards and an additional touchdown. During the Week 3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, he threw for 297 yards and scored four touchdowns.
The NFL recognized Purdy’s outstanding performance by naming him the NFC Offensive Player of the Month on Thursday. The 49ers celebrated the news enthusiastically.
