On July 22, Michaels expressed gratitude toward the frontline workers, doctors, and nurses who cared for him. He noted that the stone caused intense pain, yet he continued performing in Charleston, WV, Grantville, PA, and Spokane’s Fairchild AFB before being hospitalized.
Michaels updated his followers, claiming the operation was successful and he was recovering post-op. He emphasized his efforts to regain health and return to performing for his fans.
In a photo shared on Facebook, Michaels appeared in a hospital bed, humorously noting that he was eventually made to wear a hospital gown despite arriving straight from a concert.
His followers wished him well, writing supportive messages. One fan commented, “Can’t keep a good man down.”
Michaels had initially mentioned the kidney stone pain on Instagram. Despite his discomfort, he aimed to ensure a great experience for attendees.
