A violent altercation in an In-N-Out Burger in Arizona caused panic among diners as a group of teenagers engaged in a physical fight inside the restaurant. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday at the popular fast-food chain’s location in Tempe.
The Tempe Police Department reported that by the time officers arrived, those involved had already left the scene on foot and in vehicles, leaving behind frightened customers. Official comments from authorities described the chaos, but no arrests were made as the suspects were already gone.

A video shared by the local FOX 10 Phoenix news affiliate showed the tumultuous scene. Teenagers were seen exchanging blows and tackling each other to the floor while customers attempted to escape. The person who recorded the video mentioned that many were inside the restaurant to seek shelter from an active monsoon storm at the time.
Investigators have since spoken with witnesses and employees, and are continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the incident. The reason for the altercation remains unclear. The California-based chain, In-N-Out, has been contacted for more information but has yet to respond.
This event bears a resemblance to a similar confrontation in May at a Chipotle restaurant in Washington, D.C. In that case, teenagers clad in black, with some donning hoods and masks, were seen attacking with fists and chairs, causing panic among the patrons.
