Arrest Made in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 Killing

For nearly 30 years, the murder of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur remained unsolved. Despite efforts by law enforcement, the case seemed to be at a standstill. However, recent developments have turned the tide.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis, a former gang leader, has provided key information about the case. He recounted details of the 1996 drive-by shooting in various interviews and also penned a memoir sharing his insights.

The revelations led to significant progress. Davis now faces charges, with a single count of murder in connection to Shakur’s death. Preparations for his trial are underway in Las Vegas. Jury selection is scheduled to start on Monday.

In a recent court appearance, Davis was joined by his attorney, Michael Sanft. This development marks a critical moment in one of the most high-profile unsolved cases in music history.
