Lady Gaga has welcomed her first child with fiancé Michael Polansky, according to reports from People and Page Six. The 40-year-old singer and her partner have not shared further details.
Fox News Digital contacted Lady Gaga for comment, but a response has yet to be received. In a March 2025 interview with the New York Times, the Grammy Award-winning artist expressed her excitement about motherhood. Gaga noted that while she had apprehensions, she was enthusiastic about becoming a mom.
I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon. Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this. How do I live a life where I’m passionate about my art while also making more space for other things?
One of her main concerns was allowing her children to live a life of their choice and not imposing her own expectations. Gaga emphasized giving them the freedom to discover their own identities.
Gaga also shared her thoughts on parenthood in a March 2020 interview with InStyle, marveling at the ability to create life. She highlighted the responsibility of caring for a newborn.
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky’s relationship began in late 2019 after they were seen celebrating New Year’s Eve together in Las Vegas. They confirmed their relationship publicly in February 2020 through a social media post.
The couple announced their engagement in July 2024. Gaga revealed that Polansky proposed in April that year. The pair made their red carpet debut in September 2024 at the Venice Film Festival.
Gaga’s recent professional endeavors included wrapping up the Mayhem Ball tour in April. Her latest public appearance was in May for the premiere of “Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga MAYHEM Requiem” at the Grove.
