Dominique Malonga, a center for the Seattle Storm, finally had her moment to shine during the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game. The anticipation wasn’t about if she would dunk, but when. During the second quarter, Malonga seized her chance. She received a pass from Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese and made a memorable dunk.
This achievement marked Malonga as the seventh player in WNBA history to dunk in an All-Star Game. The WNBA also noted that at 20 years old, she is the youngest player to achieve this in an All-Star setting.
Malonga follows in the footsteps of Sylvia Fowles, who performed the last All-Star dunk in 2022. Despite her All-Star success, Malonga is still pursuing her first regular-season dunk with the Storm after 63 games. Her dunking skill, however, is well-known from her performances in Europe and Unrivaled.
Selected as the second overall pick in last year’s draft, she impressed with her dunking skills during her debut practice with Seattle. If Malonga doesn’t dunk during the game, I’m not speaking to her anymore.

Currently, in her sophomore WNBA season, Malonga is averaging 16.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Her ability on the court continues to draw notice as she builds on her young career.
