A body has been located at a rental property owned by Conan Harris, the husband of Ayanna Pressley, a Democratic Representative from Massachusetts. The discovery occurred on Saturday afternoon in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood.
The Boston Police Department confirmed that officers were called to the Malta Street residence where they found a deceased individual. The identity of the person has not yet been disclosed. Authorities have assigned the case to the homicide unit for further investigation.
Property records indicate that the two-story rental home, valued at approximately $919,000, belongs to Harris, who has been married to Pressley since 2014.
Harris addressed the situation on Facebook, expressing gratitude for the support and confirming the safety of his family. He stated, “Thank you everyone for the care and concern, our family is safe. My heart goes out to the family that lost a loved one today in Mattapan.”
The Congresswoman extends her deepest condolences to the impacted family.
