Killer Kross Opens Up About His Life Outside Wrestling and Unexpected Feline Friendship

Killer Kross, a prominent figure in Major League Wrestling (MLW), is widely recognized for his fierce persona in the ring. As the reigning MLW world heavyweight champion, Kross has battled numerous opponents in high-stakes matches, such as the Battle Riot VIII in January. Despite his fearsome reputation, outside the ring, he reveals a kinder side, particularly demonstrated through his affection for a stray cat.

During a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Kross shared some personal insights while discussing MLW’s new partnership with Veeps. Mid-interview, his cat unexpectedly climbed into his lap, prompting questions about how this animal became part of their lives.

I’m allergic to cats, like deathly allergic,” Kross explained. He recounted how a year and a half ago, he and his wife, fellow wrestler Scarlett Bordeaux, noticed a kitten at their door. “Every once in a while, we would see stray cats around,” he said.

Initially cautious, they provided food for the kitten, which appeared neglected and without a home. This stray cat began to visit regularly, even leaving small ‘gifts’ at their door—an act associated with feline affection.

A critical moment came when a hurricane threatened the area. “We were like, ‘I’d love to bring it into the house, but you understand what happens,'” Kross said, referencing his severe allergies. Nevertheless, his wife made arrangements to ensure the cat’s safety, setting up a makeshift home at their front door.

Over time, the stray cat became more comfortable with them, allowing Kross limited interaction despite his allergies. The turning point was when the cat sustained an injury that required veterinary attention. Kross invested significantly in its care, noting that the cat displayed unusual friendliness for a stray.

“It let me pick it up,” Kross stated. After necessary medical procedures and recovery, the cat fully integrated into their family. They even reserved a room for it, complete with modern amenities like an automatic cat litter box.

Despite his initial reservations, Kross now finds himself free of allergies when around the cat. He described the animal as having a “hilarious personality” and noted its intelligence in responding to commands and recognizing its name. The cat has seamlessly blended with their two dogs, forming a harmonious household unit.

While Killer Kross remains an intimidating force in wrestling, his life outside the ring reveals a sentimentally-driven individual with room for compassion. With the new season of “MLW Fusion” launching on global streaming platforms, fans anticipate seeing more of both his professional endeavors and personal adventures.
