Spain holds a slight advantage heading into Sunday’s match, displaying exceptional midfield and record-setting goalkeeping, conceding only one goal in seven matches. The final is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET, preceded by a closing ceremony at 1:30, featuring musical guests Post Malone and Robbie Williams, with Jennifer Hudson singing the national anthem. Celebrity appearances are expected, including Tom Cruise, while the halftime show includes performances by Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, BTS, and others. Dignitaries such as President Trump, Spain’s Royal Family, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum will attend.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul assured ‘Face the Nation’ that comprehensive security measures are in place for the tournament, involving federal, state, and local law enforcement coordination over more than 1,000 scenarios. “I feel very confident in our security, and we’re so happy to welcome the eyes of the world,” said Hochul.
The final match will be broadcasted on FOX and Telemundo.
