On Tuesday, the new White House press secretary, Katie Zacharia, addressed the media for the first time. Her debut was marked by a brief session, where she answered only three questions from reporters. During her introductory remarks, Zacharia highlighted President Donald Trump’s energy and mentioned the large anticipated crowds at his rallies, despite recent reports of empty seats.
Her appearance involved reading from a prepared script, which featured several pauses and hesitations as she navigated her initial press briefing. The session was notably short, providing limited interaction between Zacharia and the attending reporters.
