Among President Trump’s several supporters is a well-known rapper: Waka Flocka Flame. Known for the hit “No Hands” in the 2010s, he holds a legend status in rap circles. Recently, he appeared as a guest on OutKick’s “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless,” sharing his unfiltered opinions in a candid interview.
Artists and Conservative Views
Tomi Lahren began their discussion by addressing the criticism some artists face for conservative stances. She highlighted Nicki Minaj, who faced backlash after supporting Trump and advocating for Christians persecuted in Nigeria. Minaj’s involvement included introducing Trump at public events, though this led to calls for her cancellation by peers like Jay-Z.
Trump Over Harris
Lahren moved on to ask Waka about his support for Trump compared to Kamala Harris. Waka expressed clear favoritism for Trump, drawing a parallel to his preference for Kobe Bryant over LeBron James, both in sports talent and political preference. However, he emphasized this did not mean full agreement with Trump’s agenda.
“When people use the word support, it doesn’t mean you endorse everything they stand for,” Waka clarified.
He also noted his lack of voting history.
I never vote for anybody,
he admitted, explaining his view that votes don’t impact people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Lessons from Trump
Despite not voting, Waka acknowledged learning business strategies from Trump, such as capital delegation and structuring successful ventures.
Lack of Support for Harris
When quizzed about Kamala Harris, Waka’s response was straightforward and negative, expressing no favor toward her political stance.
Fatherhood
The rapper also talked about expecting his first biological son. He acknowledged the gravity and responsibility that fatherhood entails, preparing to take one day at a time.
Another human is gonna be in the house and I got a strong responsibility,” Waka mentioned, adding that,
“Nothing is real to me till it’s real.
