Titans CEO Apologizes to Fans Amid 0-5 Start

The Tennessee Titans face a challenging season with an 0-5 record. CEO Burke Nihill has publicly apologized to fans, acknowledging the disappointment. He expressed regret, saying, There’s nobody in this building that doesn’t feel … a sense of grief about it, because not only are we fans of the team as well, but we feel the sense of responsibility to deliver.

Under scrutiny is the performance on the field. The Titans have hired head coach Robert Saleh in the offseason and have general manager Mike Borgonzi entering his second season. With 2025’s No. 1 pick, Cam Ward, in his second year, expectations were higher.

Despite a solid defense ranking 11th in points allowed, the offense is struggling. The Titans are ranked the lowest in the NFL, scoring an average of 11.6 points per game.

Nihill, however, maintains faith in the leadership of Saleh and Borgonzi. He expressed confidence by stating, I personally feel a sense of stability. I believe that Mike Borgonzi and Robert Saleh are ultimately going to get this team out of the woods.

The Titans have seen frequent changes but scarce victories, winning only 6 games since 2023, and are on a 7-game losing streak. Yet, Nihill, alongside hopeful fans, looks to future games with anticipation, beginning with an upcoming match against the Indianapolis Colts.
