The Rise and Achievements of Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber’s journey from a YouTube sensation to an international superstar is noteworthy. He earns millions per show and has achieved over 150 million in global record sales. Bieber has released three documentary-style movies and numerous hit songs like “Baby,” “Sorry,” and “Lonely.”

Born on March 1, 1994, in Canada, to Jeremy Bieber and Pattie Mallette, his career began by sharing music covers on YouTube in 2007. Music executive Scooter Braun discovered him shortly thereafter. By 2008, Braun became his manager, and Bieber’s debut album, divided into “My World” in 2009 and “My World 2.0” in 2010, catapulted him to fame. These albums featured popular tracks like “One Time,” “One Less Lonely Girl,” and “Baby.” He followed up with a Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe.”

In 2011, Bieber released his first film, “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,” which earned $12.4 million on opening day. His subsequent films included “Justin Bieber’s Believe” in 2013, and “Justin Bieber: Our World” in 2021. After his “Believe” album in 2012, he released “Journals” in 2013, “Purpose” in 2015, “Changes” in 2020, and “Justice” in 2021.

His collaborations span across many artists such as Post Malone, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, and DJ Khaled. Awards include a Grammy in 2015 for his track “Where Are Ü Now” and a Guinness World Record for the youngest male artist to debut atop the Billboard 100 chart.

Beyond music, Bieber ventured into fragrances and founded Drew House in 2018 with Ryan Good. The clothing line, named after his middle name, features bright colors, oversized styles, and smiley faces. Despite minimal advertising, it experiences frequent sellouts.

Bieber’s personal life is equally eventful. He married model Hailey Baldwin in a private ceremony in 2018, following up with a larger celebration in 2019. They first met backstage at one of Bieber’s concerts when Baldwin was 12. They began dating in 2016, separated, and reunited after Bieber’s relationship with Selena Gomez ended in 2018. The couple then engaged.

Bieber continues to tour, though his “Justice World Tour” in 2022-23 was paused for health reasons. He disclosed on Instagram that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, affecting his ear and facial nerves.
