Teachers Injured Amid Student Protests in France

On Monday morning, student protests in France resulted in two teachers being shot. These incidents are the latest in escalating tensions across the country.

The National Education system reported that at least eight staff members sustained injuries during the protests. This count does not include the incidents where a middle school principal and a teacher suffered injuries from a shotgun blast in Aubagne. The Ministry of Education emphasized the severity of the situation in a statement, noting that the violence is on the rise.

The ministry specified that the violence was especially intense in the Créteil academy, in addition to notable incidents in Bordeaux and Lyon.

This is a developing story; further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
