An Ohio resident faced arrest by the FBI after making severe threats against a Jewish Republican congressman and advocating for the death of former President Donald Trump. The Department of Justice (DOJ) reported that Alex Justin Miller, aged 26, is accused of issuing a ‘true threat’ to Rep. Randy Fine of Florida and his family.
A copy of the message obtained by Fox News Digital reveals that Miller allegedly referred to Fine and his family using derogatory terms, threatening to burn their residence. He stated he would ‘never stop until your head is hanging from the rooftops of the White House,’ concluding with ‘DEATH TO RANDY FINE AND DEATH TO DONALD TRUMP.’
Miller faces charges for the interstate transmission of a threat to injure, a crime supervised by the U.S. Attorney in the Middle District of Florida. If found guilty, Miller could serve up to five years in prison, according to the DOJ.

The incident was investigated by the FBI and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, with additional assistance from the Secret Service and Capitol Police, the DOJ confirmed.
Rep. Randy Fine communicated his response to Fox News Digital, asserting, ‘It was so graphic. It says, ‘I’m gonna murder you. I’m going to cut your head off. I won’t stop.” Fine reported the message immediately, distinguishing it from other unpleasant communications as a definitive death threat.
The complete message was explicit in its intent: ‘Dear fat— piece of s—stain, I cannot wait to take a trip to your lovely home and light the whole place on fire and murder you and your entire family in the middle of the night while you sleep. I hope you disgusting Nazi f—s sleep with one eye open for the rest of your life because I will NEVER stop until your head is hanging from the rooftops of the White House. You deserve 10000% to be beheaded and have your body paraded through the streets. DEATH TO RANDY FINE AND DEATH TO DONALD TRUMP!!’

Fine shared that the threat was received via email on the morning of primary Election Day in Florida. He added that this incident reinforced his view on the necessity of increased security for federal officials. ‘I don’t know what this person’s motives were for writing this, but it’s someone not from Florida. So, you know, this was not a local constituent that was upset,’ Fine remarked. ‘I do think members of Congress need more security than we oftentimes get.’

Law enforcement apprehended the suspect within 36 hours. Fine expressed gratitude for the swift response from the U.S. attorney, the FBI, Capitol Police, and Florida law enforcement. ‘The bottom line is, don’t do this. Don’t write messages like this to elected officials, Republican or Democrat. You want to call us bad people? Be my guest, but do not do this sort of thing,’ Fine advised.
