Koe Wetzel’s Impressive Hunting Adventure in Oklahoma

Country music stars are enjoying a successful hunting season this fall. Luke Combs, Riley Green, Parker McCollum, and Sam Barber have actively participated in the hunting scene. Koe Wetzel has now joined them, showcasing a remarkable achievement.

The Texas-born singer shared his impressive accomplishment on Instagram, posing with a large elk and his compound bow. The elk’s massive antlers and Wetzel’s smile clearly highlight the success of his hunting trip. The post’s caption read: ‘Oklahoma Breakdown.’ This could refer to the location of the hunt or a nod to Stoney LaRue’s song, or perhaps both.

Prior to this, Wetzel posted a collection of music-related photos, noting they were taken in a remote area while hunting elk. Wetzel’s enthusiasm for hunting is well-known. In the ‘Country Outdoors’ podcast, he highlighted that hunting season is a priority for him, especially from October to February.

Wetzel grew up in East Texas and has been hunting since childhood. At eight years old, he received his first bow and continues to practice archery year-round. He sometimes brings his bows on tour with him. His past hunting experiences include harvesting a bull elk in New Mexico with a rifle shot over 540 yards and a bull measuring over 380 inches.

While exact details of his latest hunt aren’t disclosed, Wetzel’s experience in hunting big game is evident. During the rut season, a bull elk watches cows in Estes Park, Colorado. Wetzel’s dedication to hunting remains clear, and he’s advised others not to contact him during these months.
