Jack Keane Supports Israel and Criticizes Genocide Claims

General Jack Keane spoke with Brian Kilmeade, addressing Israel’s military actions and praising Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN. Keane highlighted Israel’s measures to protect civilians and dismissed allegations of genocide. He discussed his recent visit to the region, including observing Gaza’s tunnel network. Keane condemned Hamas for using human shields in conflict. Meanwhile, Navi Pillay received the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts in promoting peace and international law. She chaired a UN commission accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza, a claim Israel refutes.

In 2021, tensions between Israelis and Palestinians led to the creation of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry. By 2025, the commission labeled Israel’s actions as genocide against Palestinians. They singled out Netanyahu and then-Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Pillay stated intentions to destroy Palestinians were evident in acts meeting Genocide Convention criteria. Israel dismissed these findings.

Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, president of Shurat HaDin Law Center, criticized the Nobel Prize awarded to Pillay, questioning her contributions to peace. Pillay’s career began in South Africa, where she founded a law firm and represented anti-apartheid activists. In 1995, she became the first non-white woman on South Africa’s High Court but soon joined the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Her work helped establish rape as a crime against humanity.

Pillay’s appointment to the International Criminal Court came in 2003. She later served as the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, denouncing actions on both sides of the 2014 Gaza War. She also criticized U.S. funding for Israel’s Iron Dome without protection for Gazans. Currently, she is involved in a genocide case against Burma at the International Court of Justice.
