The first ransom demand was sent one day after the suspected abduction, according to authorities.
The notes contain unique linguistic elements that might help someone recognize the writer.

The FBI released Nest doorbell camera images that might show the masked intruder twice. They seek public help to identify the individual, asking if anyone noticed behavioral changes post-February 10.
Suggestions include someone becoming anxious, altering appearance, leaving town, cleaning their car thoroughly, or displaying unusual conduct.
