Expectations for Swift-Kelce Event at Madison Square Garden

Preparations are underway for an upcoming multi-day event at Madison Square Garden, believed to be the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. However, many details remain undisclosed.

The focus is on elements such as flowers, food, decor, and the guest list. Yet, the dress code for the event has emerged as a point of interest. According to insiders, the celebration will require black-tie attire. While women have options between gowns, elevated cocktail dresses, or dressy separates, men are expected to don tuxedos with jackets, black bow ties, and matching satin-striped trousers.

Notably, black tie is less formal compared to white tie, which demands tailcoats for men and white bow ties. Recently, Peters Clothiers in Kansas City posted a photo on Instagram showcasing Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs’ coach, being fitted for a tuxedo jacket. The post mentioned preparations for the Swift-Kelce wedding. In May, Reid mentioned on a radio show that he had probably been invited.

The couple plans to hold two distinct events at Madison Square Garden. On Thursday, a rehearsal dinner for about 100 people will occur in the Infosys Theater. On Friday, a larger event hosting about 1,000 guests will start with a cocktail hour at 4 p.m. Both occasions will maintain a strict no-phone policy for attendees, vendors, and security personnel.

While the couple has not publicly shared much about the event, hints were observed outside Madison Square Garden. Trucks and forklifts delivered large cargo, some as big as small cars, wrapped in dark plastic. Items seemingly resembling trees, with “trees” marked on wooden boxes, were noticed. Additionally, a forklift driver sporting a “Taylor Swift CARPENTERS” shirt responded with “I plead the Fifth” when asked if his shirt linked to his task.
