Exciting Uniform Matchup: Broncos and Seahawks in Colorful Showdown

Thursday’s game in Denver promises to be a standout with both the Broncos and Seahawks showcasing their iconic colored jerseys. This matchup breaks from the usual sight where one NFL team sports white, particularly the visitors. Instead, fans can expect an eye-catching display as part of Week 6’s unique offering.

The Denver Broncos will feature their Orange Crush throwbacks. This marks the sixth time they’ve worn these retro uniforms since their reintroduction in 2024. These throwbacks have become popular with fans, supported by the team’s undefeated record of 5-0 while wearing them.

On the opposite side, the Seattle Seahawks will don royal blue jerseys and silver helmets, reminiscent of their 1990s look. This nod to their past has been worn in three games last season, culminating in their second Super Bowl title. The upcoming matchup will see the Seahawks continue with these throwbacks, which will be worn again in Week 7, albeit against Kansas City, who will wear white.

The NFL’s Color Rush era from 2015-18 embraced color-on-color matchups, yet Thursday’s confrontation between the Broncos and Seahawks will only be the fourth such occurrence since 2021 without teams wearing Color Rush uniforms. The most recent similar matchup occurred in Week 15 of the 2025 season, featuring the Falcons in black and the Buccaneers in Creamsicle attire.

Heading into Thursday, Denver holds a 3-2 record, fresh off a narrow 23-17 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. Meanwhile, Seattle faced a tight 32-29 loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.
