Congress Investigates Alleged Financial Crimes Linked to Neville Roy Singham

Top members of Congress support a federal grand jury investigation into alleged financial crimes by Neville Roy Singham. This follows reports of his funding of socialist, communist, and Marxist groups. A Fox News Digital investigation revealed Singham has directed $278 million into a network of nonprofits since 2017.

Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche authorized the grand jury in Manhattan. U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton for the Southern District of New York, known for handling federal prosecutions, launched the investigation. Singham has not responded to multiple requests for comment.

Senator Jim Banks, R-Indiana, criticized Singham, saying his loyalties lie with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Banks highlighted the financial support Singham provides to left-wing groups in America that sometimes promote violence.

Neville Singham is a traitor to our country. He has ties to the CCP.

Singham’s ties extend to CodePink, a nonprofit co-founded by his wife, Jodie Evans. Despite receiving funds from Singham, CodePink has not commented.

Earlier this year, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent met Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon. Bessent warned Goldman Sachs of potential scrutiny for alleged involvement in Singham’s financial activities. Sources indicate Solomon agreed to cooperate with the Justice Department investigation.

Banks, serving on the Senate Banking Committee, stressed the importance of Wall Street’s caution in dealing with individuals linked to adversaries like the CCP. He stated that firms should be wary of aiding such entities.

Wall Street should know that you can’t get away with helping our biggest enemy.

Banks and others argue CodePink might violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which requires disclosure of foreign ties. He urged an inquiry into whether they should register under FARA.

Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas, who is pursuing the chairmanship of the House Oversight Committee, emphasized accountability for nonprofits linked to the CCP and funded by Singham. He claimed far-left NGOs play a role in undermining the United States.

Groups like CodePink, which Singham has funded, openly spew CCP propaganda.

Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., of the House Ways and Means Committee expressed on social media that the grand jury investigation of Singham’s finances is overdue and necessary to counter his alleged ties to the CCP.

Video evidence shows Singham endorsing a ‘new world order’ promoted by the CCP during a Beijing forum. Singham’s financial activities included significant contributions through the Goldman Sachs Donor Advised Philanthropy Fund, with $22.44 million directed to People’s Forum Inc. in Manhattan and over $223 million supporting global organizations.
